Although we are often told not to, many people do judge a book by its cover and the same applies for houses.
A well-presented house façades is not only important when buying or selling a house, it also plays a big part in how we feel about our homes, giving us a sense of pride, or a warm buzz when we arrive home at the end of the day.
In the second of our blogs around alternatives to natural building materials, we draw attention to an exterior and interior finish that has house designers chomping at their T-squares:
Often called façades or facias, today’s new panelling systems are now increasingly popular as a way to seamlessly merge indoors with outdoors
What used to be renowned as a cheap, and often nasty, solution to finishing off a building’s exterior is now a way to make a strong visual statement
